Johnnie and his wife Kristy are proud parents of four children and grandparents to three grandchildren. They put their faith and family first, and Johnnie believes deeply in strong family values. He is especially proud to have his daughter Courtney and her husband, Nic, as part of the firm. Courtney and Nic are the parents of Johnnie and Kristy’s grandchildren, Theodore and John.Their son, Hunter, is also working in the financial industry. Johnnie and Kristy’s daughter Katelyn holds a master’s degree in social work from Wayne State University and is married to Matt, a sergeant with the Detroit Police Department. Katelyn and Matt are the proud parents of their son, Nathaniel. Their youngest daughter, Charity, earned her bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from the University of Detroit Mercy. Johnnie began his career in retirement planning and insurance services in 1998.
He hosts retirement and estate planning seminars, helping individuals and families navigate the changes and uncertainties facing today’s retirees. Dedicated to the communities he serves and to the goals of each individual and family, Johnnie is grateful for the opportunity to partner with clients in building confident, well-prepared futures.
Shelly is an accountant and specialized in individual and business tax matters and returns. She brings over 25 years of experience to our team. As owner of Sharp Edge Tax Solutions, she is a valuable resource and partner to our clients
